• Studies show journaling is good for your mental health.
  • Studies show that regularly writing at least three things you are grateful for is also good for your mental health.
  • Studies further show sharing your appreciation to your partner in their love languages is good for your relationship.

But what happens if your heart for your partner is filled with apathy (due to the busyness of life) than with love?

Because it is easier to remember what I have done for my partner than what they have done for me, we need to be intentional about remembering the good will, work, and heart of our loved ones.

One way to intentionally focus and remember the positive things our partner has done is to keep a gratitude journal. You can use the questions below to help you to write the journal (from The Gottman Institute).
